    Raw Organic Coconut Oil (MCT Oil)

    MCT (Coconut) Oil was chosen as a carrier for our range of CBD oils after rigorous research into all the available options. It is no coincidence that most CBD enthusiasts consider MCT oil to be the best quality carrier oil - it has numerous benefits and has little to no flavour.

    The medium-chain triglycerides (MCTs) in our CBD oils are more easily digested than longer chains meaning they are more easily absorbed and can be used for energy relatively quickly. While more research is needed, the various benefits of MCT have been shown in multiple studies in-vitro so there is no surprise as to why it is so popular within natural wellness circles and CBD users. For example, multiple studies have shown that the fatty acids in MCT oil can impair the growth of yeast infections and thrush by reducing the growth of Candida albicans.

    MCT oil is also thought to be low FODMAP and is often recommended by nutrition experts to help manage the symptoms of irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) such as tummy pain and bloating. How do you take BeYou CBD Oils?

Our CBD Oils come in a Spray or Dropper format is designed to be taken sublingually - that is directly under your tongue. Hold it there for at least 90 seconds until absorbed. Simple!

Will CBD Get me high?

No - as CBD is not a psychoactive chemical it won’t get you high. We have our CBD tested externally to ensure all traces of THC are removed. This means it won’t show up on a drugs test either. We take this very seriously as we have Olypmic athletes who use BeYou products.

Can I overdose on CBD oil?

No, even a larger intake won’t get you high.

Is your CBD oil vegan?

Yes. Our CBD oil is sourced responsibly from Colorado hemp, carrier oil (hemp seed oil or MCT oil) and natural flavouring. It is suitable for vegans and vegetarians and contains absolutely no animal products.

Is your CBD oil tested on animals?

No. None of our CBD oils, or any of our products are tested on animals. Being cruelty-free and responsible is core to our brand here at BeYou.

How much CBD should I take?

Based on our own research and listening to customers, the most satisfied users took a dose of 70mg. Consistency is key, however, so it is important to take CBD oil daily as part of whatever routine works best for you to remember!

Can I use CBD with medication?

We always advise speaking to your doctor before taking CBD alongside medication. Most notably, CBD can have the same impact on your enzymes that grapefruit has - inhibiting enzyme P450. That means certain medications might not be metabolised as quickly as they would otherwise and so can linger in the bloodstream for longer. As its difficult to accurately predict how CBD might interact with particular medication, we always advise speaking to your doctor first.

I want to use CBD for pain, why can’t you say if CBD will help me?

The MHRA regulation states that companies cannot make any medical claims relating to CBD, regardless of the multitude of research and clinical studies being published. You should never buy CBD from someone who makes any medical claims about their CBD.

I’ve seen lots of people in the USA use CBD for anxiety and sleep, can you tell me how that works?

The MHRA prohibits any UK company from making any medical claims relating to CBD. You should never buy CBD from someone who makes any medical claims about their CBD.

I want to use CBD for my arthritis, why can’t you tell me if CBD could help?

Similar to above, the MHRA does not allow CBD brands to make any medical claims regarding CBD.

What is the Difference Between Hemp Oil and CBD Oil?

They come from different parts of the plant! Hemp oil comes from the seeds, while CBD oil is from the stems and leaves.

What is a CBD Tincture?

CBD tincture is just another name for CBD oil drops. Fancy!

Why do you list amounts of CBD instead of CBD percentage on your oils?

While it’s quite common to have a percentage concetration of CBD, it can get confusing quite quickly when it comes to controlling your daily dose of CBD. It can also be quite misleading as many brands will include hemp oil in the percentage they put on their label - for example a label might read 5% but most of that could be hemp oil with only 0.45% of actual CBD.

Can I see lab reports for your CBD oils?

Yes - each bottle comes with a batch code. Simply enter that on our lab report page and you can see the report from a third party, industry-leading laboratory.

Will it show up on a drugs test?

In general no, however, it is possible for CBD to generate a false positive on more basic drug tests that cannot differentiate between CBD and THC. We’d advise speaking to the conductor of the test beforehand and providing them with your product’s lab report and explaining the situation to them.
